Belmont is a small Vermont village southeast of Rutland between Ludlow and East Wallingford. One of our members lives close by and we'll often participate in the 4th of July parade, which usually takes place a day or two before the 4th. The event includes a flag raising ceremony, and a salute to the Revolutionary War soldiers buried in the nearby cemetery.
